Day 1 - Chennai - Prague
Meet your tour manager at Chennai airport for the flight to
Prague. On arrival we clear customs and immigrations and
proceed to our hotel for check in. (Subject to suitable flight
arrival times). Later we proceed to the Old Town Square to
see to see the Astronomical Clock. See the beautiful
Church of St Nicholas and the Charles Bridge over the
Vltava River. Later you have some free time to shop for
bargains and Bohemian crystal. (Dinner)
Day 2 - Prague
Today, we meet our expert local guide for a morning
sightseeing tour. On our tour we will visit Hradcany
Castle, walk through the Castle Courtyards before visiting
the St Vitus Cathedral. Proceed down the Golden Lane
lined with historic buildings. Enjoy a panoramic view of
this majestic city from the Castle gallery. Later enjoy a
cruise on the Vltava River. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 3 - Prague, Vienna
After breakfast, we depart for the capital of Austria. Visit
the Prater funfair and enjoy a ride on the 65m high Ferris
wheel (Reisenrad) for a spectacular panoramic view across
the city. Evening is at leisure to explore this magnificent
and elegant city or sit in a sidewalk cafe and feast on the
Austrian speciality of Sachertorte and cream.

Day 4 - Vienna
Our morning guided sightseeing tour of Vienna features
the monuments and palaces of this musical city. We drive
past the main highlights: the Hofburg Palace, St Stephen's
Cathedral, the Parliament Buildings, the Opera House and
the Belverdere Palaces. This afternoon visit the sumptuous
baroque Schonbrunn Palace with it's numerous rooms of
imperial splendor and classically landscaped gardens.

Day 5 - Vienna -Salzburg
Today we drive along the Valley of the River Danube to
reach Salzburg, Mozart's birthplace. En route we make a
brief stop at Mondsee for a photo opportunity of this
beautiful lake and to see the church featured in “The
Sound of Music” in this traditional Austrian town. On
arrival in Salzburg, our guided walking tour takes us
through the old town to see the Dom, the Residenz andthe Hohensalzburg fortress, the symbol of the power of
the prince-archbishops. Later, we have some free time on
the picturesque Getreidegasse with it's colourful shops and
Mozart's birthplace. We end our tour with a walk through
the gardens of Mirabell Palace. Later we check into our
hotel for an overnight stay. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6 - Salzburg - London
Today we check out and depart for the airport for the
return flight to Chennai, where the tour ends and its
time to say farewell to all the friends you have made on
tour. (Breakfast) |
