Day 1 - Chennai, Rome
Today, you will meet your Tour Manager at Chennai Airport for
check in for your flight to Rome, the ‘Eternal City’. Welcome
to Italy! On arrival in Rome, we meet our expert local guide
who will show us the splendours of Rome and the Vatican
City. We first visit the Vatican Museums, to see the Sistine
Chapel, and also St. Peter’s Basilica, a renaissance
masterpiece. We then take in other sights of Rome – see the
Colosseum, the Roman Forum, which was the political centre
of the Roman Empire, Piazza Venezia and the spectacular
Trevi Fountain, where you may make a wish. Late evening
we check into our hotel for a two-night stay. (Dinner)
Day 2 - Rome, Naples, Capri, Rome
Early this morning, we drive south down the Italian
peninsula and past the well-tilled fields and orchards of the
Neapolitan countryside. After crossing Naples, we reach the
harbour where we will take the high-speed boat to Capri,
the beautiful dream island of the Mediterranean. Weatherpermitting,
we will take the motor launch and row boats to
the unique Blue Grotto, a large cavern lit by sunlight
reflecting off the submerged limestone walls. Later you
have some time off on your own to browse through the
shops. Late afternoon we begin our return journey by the
high-speed boat to the Naples harbour and then back to
Rome. Return to our hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 3 - Rome, Orvieto, Pisa, Florence area
Today we depart for Orvieto. The site of the city is among the
most dramatic in Europe. Perched on a plateau of tufa rock,
with the outline of its world famous Duomo visible for miles
around. The heart of Orvieto is Piazza del Duomo, onto
which look the town’s most important buildings and the
facade of the Duomo, a masterpiece of gothic architecture
and dazzling mosaics. Later we depart for Pisa. Passing
ancient fortresses perched high on the hills, sunlit valleys of
the Chianti wine country and the gentle hilly countryside of
Tuscany, we visit the Square of Miracles: see the famous
Leaning Tower, Cathedral and Baptistry. Late evening we
check into our hotel in the Florence area. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4 - Florence, Venice area
Depart this morning for Florence, the city of the Medicis,
where we will visit Piazzale Michelangelo to enjoy one of
the best views of this renaissance city across the River
Arno. Next, we meet our local guide who will introduce
us to the main sights in the city, where traffic is banned
from the historic centre: admire its timeless beauty. Later
we drive across the Appennines and the region of Emilia
Romagna, to the Venice area, where we reach our hotel
and check in. . (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 5 - Venice, Milan
This morning, we proceed to Venice, the city of
unparalleled beauty and romantic gondolas. Our tour starts
with a boat ride to St. Mark’s Square – the most elegant
square in the world, to see the Bridge of Sighs, the Doges
Palace and Basilica di San Marco. Here we also have a
chance to watch the Venetian glass blowers at work and
maybe buy a souvenir for the family. Later we depart for
Milan, the cultural and economic hub of Italy. Arrive at our
hotel late evening and check in. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 6 - Milan, Chennai
Today after breakfast we check out, and transfer to the city,
where you have free time to explore the historic centre of
Milan – see the famous Duomo (Cathedral), one of the
finest examples of Gothic architecture in Italy, La Scala
Opera House and the Castello Sforzesco. Later we transfer
to the airport for the return flight to Chennai. On arrival we
clear customs and immigration, where the tour ends and it
is time to say farewell to all the friends you have made on
